Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and development of mechanical components and wiring details for systems.
• Efficient application of fundamental mechanical design and manufacturing techniques.
• Proficient knowledge in selecting appropriate materials based on system component requirements.
• Design of mechanical interfaces for electrical and electronic units, ensuring their packaging meets military standards - and environmental resilience.
• Extensive and proficient use of parametric design techniques in 3D CAD software.
• Execution of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Conducting structural and dynamic analysis to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Performing thermal analysis to evaluate and manage heat distribution and dissipation in systems.
• Utilization of wiring modules within 3D CAD software.
• Adherence to wiring standards and protocols like IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001 standards.
• Construction and management of product trees in 3D CAD software.
• Preparation of detailed technical drawings for manufacturing.
• Production management and coordination with production teams.
• Integration of mechanical and wiring components into systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Continuous improvement and optimization of mechanical and wiring designs.
• Compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 2 years of experience.
• Citizenship of the Republic of Turkey.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing defense industry projects and a thorough understanding of military standards and specifications.
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Experience with project management and coordination.
• Certification in relevant CAD software.
